COVID-19 forces an Enterprise church to cut down on its “Live Nativity” tradition

Local News

Enterprise, Ala.— Despite COVID-19, St. Luke United Methodist Church in Enterprise held its 27th annual “Live Nativity” in its parking lot.

The nativity uses its congregation members to depict nine scenes from the bible story leading to
Christs’ birth.

But, this year’s event was “cut” down to one night. A few weeks ago, the virus infected
several congregation members.

With the positive cases and contact tracing, it severely limited those church members who could participate.
