COTTONWOOD, Ala. (WDHN) — Houston County Schools is closing down Cottonwood High School for a week due to COVID-19 problems.
“Due to the increase in the number of staff members who have tested positive for Covid – 19 and a shortage of substitutes, we will be closing Cottonwood High School beginning Monday October 5th through at least October 9th,” the system said in a release. Yeah
Parents will be given information on how their class work is supposed to go. In the meanwhile, all extracurricular activities are suspended until in person classes can resume.
