DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Cowarts, Midland City, and Kinsey will remain on the city of Dothan’s sewage line.
The city commission approved the motion on Tuesday and the agreement will allow them to stay until December 2020. Mayor Mark Saliba believes as the city grows, they will have the capacity to serve residents nearby.
“I think probably, in the end, most of them will probably stay on our system and we’ll all be working together trying to comply with EPA order,” Saliba said.
These agreement allow the commission to be able to know each month where those cities are in their progress.
