Coffee County man killed in wreck; another taken to Southeast Health for treatment

TROY, Ala. (WDHN) — A Coffee County man is dead after a two-vehicle wreck Friday morning.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division said Andrew Keith Baker, 42, of Jack was driving south in an opposing lane of Highway 231 around 16 miles south of Troy when he hit a Ford Edge head-on.

After this initial crash, a commercial vehicle ended up hitting the Edge as well.

Baker died from his injuries at Troy Regional Medical Center. The Edge driver is now at Southeast Health for possibly life-threatening injuries, according to ALEA.
