Enterprise, Ala. (WDHN)—At the monthly Coffee County Republican Women’s Club meeting, Probate Judge Jodee Thompson gave a review of the general election.
With nearly 23-thousand votes cast, Judge Thompson says president trump took more than 75-percent of the votes.
Congressman-elect Barry Moore garnered 77-percent of the vote.
Meanwhile, U.S. Senator-elect Tommy Tuberville received 73-percent of Coffee County’s ballots.
Judge Thompson also talked about a possible early voting plan to reduce long lines on election day.
With two years before the next statewide election, Judge Thompson hopes the legislature will give counties direction on how to reduce voting lines at precincts.
