Geneva, Ala. (WDHN)—One year ago Christmas night, a “tragedy” of immense proportions occurred in the western wiregrass.

Just after six o’clock Christmas night, 2019, three Geneva High School students were killed when
The SUV they were riding in ran off the road and crashed into a wooded area.

Cassidy Dunn, Emilee Fain, and Addyson Martin were all either sophomore or juniors.
That section of East Westville Avenue which goes over the Geneva levee has since been
permanently “fenced off”.

Now some 12 months later, Geneva City School officials say the “loss” remains “vivid” for not only
the family and school, but the entire city.

The teens’ friends and even strangers continue to maintain a memorial at the site of the accident.
