Local News

Geneva, Ala. (WDHN)—At daybreak on Christmas, the WDHN action cam traveled through Geneva looking for young people
checking out their new toys’.

Despite the “frigid” temperatures, we did come across a boy and his younger sister
who both attend school at Mulkey Elementary. In their own words’, here’s what
they had to say about their 2020 Christmas presents from Santa Claus.

Second-grader Adelia Williams said
“I have a barbie doll and a dinosaur and a stuffed animal. I got some more clothes too in the house. Has Santa been
pretty good this year? Yes sir.”

Third-grader Chance McArdle says
“and my big brother he tried to help me with these. And this one a skeleton.”

Their mom, Kelly Williams says
“I’m just glad I get to celebrate with my kids and the real reason for Christmas is Jesus. It’s not all about the gifts and
such, that’s just an extra.”
