GENEVA COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — Criminal charges have been dropped against a woman who initially was charged with videotaping her granddaughter being sexually molested.

Dale/geneva county district attorney Kirke Adams said Lisa Williamson was wrongly implicated by her ex-son-in-law, 20-year-old Steven Jackson.

In April, Williamson and Jackson were arrested by agents with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and charged with porn production and sexual abuse.

Geneva County Sheriff Tony Helms said Jackson posted videos of him molesting his 18-month-old daughter and posting it on several websites.

The recordings reportedly happened in rural Geneva County.

Adams said he expects Jackson to face additional charges prior to Geneva County’s next grand jury in August.
