DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — At this week’s Geneva County Commission meeting, county engineer Justin Barfield told the board that he’s received complaints from several residents along Blaylock Road in the town of Black.
Barfield said a business along Blaylock has caused a great deal of damage on the right-of-ways and has encroached on other properties.
“The road is liquid, glass, metal sharps, and with that being said, we have a lot to do with encroachment on the public right-of-way,” he said.
The county attorney said if the county does the work to correct the damage. The business owner in question will be billed by the county.
