ATRIP-2 funds will help improve a dangerous Geneva County intersection

Local News

Hartford, Ala.(WDHN)–Over the years, a stretch of State Highway 52 on the Eastside of Hartford has seen its fair share of
serious traffic accidents. It’s where four-lanes quickly narrow into two.
Geneva County Engineer Justin Barfield says ATRIP-2 funds will cover the expense of building a turn-lane.
Barfield says the project will soon be bid. He hopes construction can get underway later
this year.
