Armed robbery at Local Cash Advance

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Two armed men walked into Local Cash Advance & Title Loans with guns and demanded money from the women who were working the morning shift.

They then left with an undisclosed amount of money, and within minutes, they both ran in separate directions. One of the suspects ran to a nearby mechanic shop, where one of the workers hit the him.

The owner of that shop said he was unaware of the robbery and that he thought the guy was taking something from his shop.

Another local business owner describe it as scary.

“They walked by, and I thought if I didn’t have a customer in here, they may have come in on me,” she said.

21-year-old Chance Wilson of Summerville, South Carolina, and 18-year-old Chad Pickney are charged with first-degree robbery. They are both held on no bond.
