ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — The American Legion is collecting supplies to help Hurricane Laura victims in the Louisiana and Houston area.

Buddy Keen, junior vice president of the American Legion, said the supplies will help several families.

Items like toilet paper, paper towels, brooms, and buckets and personal items like toothbrushes and toothpaste are all in high demand.

“It’s just the everyday items cause some people out there (are out of) everything, and we are blessed by being spared from the damage so we’re taking our part to them to help them out,” Keen said.

Keen said they’re open every day to take supplies and hopes everyone who is able will help.
