All of southeast Alabama placed under high risk for COVID-19

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The entire southeastern district of Alabama has been placed under a high risk for COVID-19, according to the Alabama Department of Public Health.

Each of our counties is under high risk, requiring residents to take heightened precautions.

Across the state, only two states have been deemed as very high risk: Jackson and Lowndes counties. Meanwhile, the percent of COVID-19 tests coming back positive dropped from 20 percent to 17 percent last week.
