Stolen Ford Expedition

UPDATE:

The stolen vehicle was reportedly spotted around an hour ago in central Dothan, driven by a black man. Be on the lookout.

ORIGINAL REPORT:

Dothan, Ala. (WDHN) — A young family is stunned after their 2017 Ford Expedition was stolen right from their driveway overnight in Dothan’s Stonebridge neighborhood.

The family has three young children, twin babies, and their car seats were also inside the vehicle.

The vehicle was not close to the road, owner Brannon Woodall said. They had to walk well over a hundred feet from the road up beside our home when they stole the vehicle.

The Expedition, photographed above, has an Alabama license plate 38DW423.

This hurts our family in a big way because we depend so much on that vehicle, Woodall said.

The family discovered once the vehicle was stolen that they had accidentally left a key inside.

The one time we make a mistake our vehicle is stolen, Woodall said. This is outrageous. Somewhere in the midst of getting our children into our home the key was left behind inside the truck. It shouldn’t be a problem to leave something right next to your home, but unfortunately this day and age it is.
