2020 Slocomb Tomato Festival Canceled

Local News

Slocomb, Ala.(WDHN)– Slocomb officials have announced the 20-20 tomato festival in June has been canceled.
Each year, the salute to the town’s top cash crop brings in thousands of people to the small community in Eastern Geneva County.
With the coronavirus leading to social distancing and other restrictive crowd measures, Mayor Rob Hinson says “there’s no way the event can be held this year.”
