$1M bond issued for Headland man charged with drug trafficking in Dothan

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Dothan police charged a Headland man with drug trafficking Tuesday after a three-month investigation.

Police arrested Diante Teivon Vickers, 29, after narcotics officers performed a traffic stop on his vehicle. A police K9 detected the presence of narcotics, leading to the discovery of around 400 grams of synthetic analog, the chemical used to create synthetic marijuana.

Vickers was charged with drug trafficking and was also arrested for 8 outstanding warrants for failure to appear in court.

He was then issued a $1,000,000 bond for the charge.
