SLOCOMB, Ala. (WDHN) — With the latest Coronavirus fears, people are having problems getting every day meat and dairy products.

“I’ve been everywhere from Publix to Sams to um even Tates in Hartford,” Customer Andi Miller said. “Piggly Wiggly um and all over, and Johnson’s Meat Market. No, everyone’s out of ground beef they’re out of most common things like that.”

As of right, now there hasn’t been a run on these products, but a local dairy farm has you covered.

“We offer whole milk, 2 percent, skim, heavy cream, ah also have a variety of butter, cheeses, eggs, ground beef,” Working Cows Dairy Part-owner Johnny De Jong said.

People can drive up to some refrigerators located at the location and pick what items they need. Customers can also sample a product to see what you may or may not want.

For pay, the place uses an honor system where customers drop money into a box located by the refrigerators. However, they don’t accept credit cards though.

The farm is located on the north side of Slocomb on Highway 103 and is open 24/7.
