DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Trinity Lutheran quilting group has been making quilts and other items since 2005.
They make items for nursing homes, chemo patients, the homeless, and many other organizations.
Everything they do is free, but they get the materials and supplies from donations. Anyone can donate.
“Money wise they can make it out to the Trinity Lutheran Church market for quilting, or if you donate fabric you just bring it to the church or call me and I’ll be glad to meet them with it,” Margaret Sizemore said.
The group usually makes around 400 quilts a year and anyone can show up to participate.
