Landmark Park prepares for busy fall season; includes annual events like Fall Farm Day

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Landmark Park will soon be bustling with activity.

Like many other organizations, Landmark Park was negatively impacted by COVID-19. That, coupled with the fact that last year’s Fall Farm Day was cancelled due to a hurricane, has left the park hoping to get things back to normal and fast.

Now, Landmark Park is preparing for several big events, all of which will adhere to COVID-19 guidelines.

“There will be blacksmithing demonstrations, peanut stacking demonstrations here on the farm,” Landmark Park Executive Director Laura Vanlandingham Stakelum said. “Musicians will be scattered throughout the park so that, hopefully, there’s enough going on that no large crowds will form but people can be out and enjoy being outside.”
