James Radford Park facilities underwater after a significant amount of rainfall

HARTFORD, Ala. (WDHN) — The playground along with the baseball and softball fields in Hartford are all underwater at James Radford Recreation Park.

In the spring, the Geneva County Bulldog baseball and softball teams play their home games at the park. It also serves as a site for city league youth sports.

Once the water subsides, Hartford’s work crews will say if there’s any structural damage to the ballfields.

The water mainly came off Highway 52 along with runoff from several nearby farms.
