Holmes County murder suspect faces upgraded charges

HOLMES COUNTY, Fl. (WDHN) — Charges have been upgraded for one of three suspects police say were involved in the murder of Raul Ambriz Guillen.

Jeremie Odell Peters’ charges have been upgraded from being an accessory after the fact to being a principle to murder. His previous charge of abuse of a corpse remains unchanged.

The two other suspects in the case, William Shane Parker, 35, and Lauren Kay Wambles, 23, still face their original charges of an open count of murder and being a principle to murder, respectively.

Police say the investigation is ongoing. More charges and arrests could be forthcoming.
