DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — As uncertainty continues, people all around the world are doing their part to help.

That is why Mandy Booth assisted with Helping Hands Food Drive on Wednesday.

With millions of Americans still struggling with the COVID-19 pandemic, Helping Hands volunteers said they just wanted to help.

“It’s the community helping the community,” helper and co-organizer Mandy Booth said. “Whether they’re homeless and need clothes, or lost their house or just got a new house and can’t afford the things they need.”

You can join their community and stay updated on their future clothing and food giveaways via their Facebook page at Helping Hands Dothan.
