Geneva police need help to search for an unknown suspect

News

The Geneva Police Department needs your help locating the man who broke into the Citgo Gas Station on Highway 27 early Friday morning.

Surveillance video provided to WDHN shows what appears to be a white man who busted the glass and ran behind the counter to steal cigarettes and phone cards. He stayed in the gas station for about two minutes before leaving in a dark colored four-door vehicle.

The police department is set to come up with a plan to help with break-ins.

“We leave it to our road officers to get out here and check business like they are supposed to at night, and step up and maybe do more routine checks at night,” Sargeant Ryan Moore said.

If you have any information about this break-in, call the Geneva Police Department at (334) 684-2777
