GENEVA, Ala.(WDHN) — In its second year, G-Tech is a joint venture between Geneva and Geneva County school districts.
It provides work-force development training in areas such as health sciences, welding, and automative repair. Last week, G-Tech students performed extremely well in a district competition, a pre-requsite for a state-meet to take place in Birmingham next month.
Geneva Superintendent, Becky Birdsong, says “Only our second year of G-Tech and our students have placed and will be going to state in Birmingham and has made a difference in our students lives”.
Next year, Superintendent Birdsong says an information technology curriculum will be added to G-Tech.
