MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WDHN) — A former Coffee County judge will soon face the Alabama Judiciary Court in a public hearing.
Chris Kaminski resigned earlier this month after the Judiciary Committee released a report on several ethics accusations concerning his relationship with an attorney.
Kaminski spoke to WDHN News shortly afterward and said he resigned since it would not have been financially feasible to fight the accusations. He also said the state came to a previous agreement to drop one of the counts.
Kaminski’s hearing is set for 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 6 in Montgomery. It will take place in the Supreme Court courtroom at the Alabama Judicial Hearing.
The media has been invited to attend, with the Court of the Judiciary releases specific guidelines to media outlets.
