Forensic interview leads to arrest in child abuse case

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A Dothan man is facing multiple charges, one of them the willful abuse of a child, after a forensic interview with his child.

Dothan police Lt. Lynn Watkins said Trajazman Lamarus Farmer was arrested after his child said that Farmer physically violent and had drugs in the home.

Police then executed a search warrant at Farmer’s home, discovering the presence of marijuana and a stolen firearm.

Farmer was booked into jail Thursday on the willful abuse charge as well as two counts of chemical endangerment of a child, one count of first-degree possession of marijuana and one count of receiving stolen property third degree.
