ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — Matt Rodgers, Enterprise State Community College President, signed an agreement with six Wiregrass school districts concerning a technology-based initiative.
The agreement is called the MOU and Articulation agreement. Beginning in the fall school semester, ESCC will offer a curriculum which will provide high school students a certification for technical jobs in the workplace.
“This program has been popping up lately all over the United States, so it’s growing,” said ESCC instructor Aubri Hanson. “This is the first one in our area.”
The other such agreement is in north Alabama. The certification helps companies hire qualified workers with technical skills.
