ESCC moves forward with online only summer classes; discusses fall semester

ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — Enterprise State Community College will begin online summer classes starting Tuesday, May 26.

The summer semester will be held entirely off campus using online instruction only.

“It’s a wait and see approach,” said Enterprise State Community College President Matt Rodgers. “We are hopeful that we can return. We are working daily on a plan right now for our students and faculty to come back on campus but we are going to do it in a safe manner.”

According to school officials, students’ safety and well being is the school’s main concern.

Officials said they are going to take their time to ensure they are adhering to all of Governor Kay Ivey and the CDC’s guidelines.
