ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — Over 12 years ago, towns and cities across Alabama came to the aid of Enterprise after a tornado destroyed the high school claiming nine lives. The residents in Enterprise returned the favor.
Residents donated enough supplies to fill a tractor-trailer for the storm victims in Beauregard and Lee County. An Enterprise woman and her grandson volunteered to load the truck.
“They said come on out and help so that’s what we did. I thought about bringing the grandson to keep him busy.” Toni said.
Volunteers said Enterprise residents are aware of the hardships brought on by a devastating tornado.
