ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — The Chamber of Commerce is preparing for its annual Christmas parade.
This year, the parade will take place on December 3 at 6:30 p.m. downtown, and if it rains, the parade will then be on December 5.
The parade usually has around 140 units, and it’s not too late to sign up to take part in the parade. The deadline is this Thursday, Nov. 21.
Applications are available at the office or online at EnterpriseAlabama.com.
“Planning the largest Christmas parade in the southeast takes quite a bit of time,” Executive Director Erin Grantham said. “We facilitate the parade in November-December time frame each year, and we begin planning for it in January. So, it takes a lot of time, a lot of people that work together to bring it all together.
The parade will begin on north main street, travels down south main street, and ends at River Bank and Trust.
