Enterprise announces 26th annual World’s Smallest St.Patrick’s day parade


ENTERPRISE, Ala.(WDHN) — The 26th annual World’s Smallest St.Patrick’s day parade is scheduled for noon Saturday.

The parade will begin at the Coffee County Courthouse and go down East College Street around the Boll Weevil Monument, and then back to the Courthouse.

Following the parade, the smallest road race will be held, a Half-K. Follwing the run, a post race reception where those 21 and over can recieve an adult beverage, and Capri Suns will be provided for everyone else.

Enterprise Chamber of Commerce member Erin Gratham says ” You get a pretentious sticker, a nice mug and for those 21-and-older with an arm band get a nice, frothy green beer.”

Prior to the parade, the Enterprise Junior Women’s club will hold a 5-K race. There will be racers of all ages taking part.
