DPD highlights the importances of major drug bust


ASHFORD, Ala. (WDHN) —On Feb. 9, the Dothan Police Department seized $ 800,000 worth of cocaine and guns in a major drug bust. One month later, the residents said it’s still very shocking.

Captain Will Benny of the Dothan Police Department said taking 25 Kilograms of cocaine off the street for an area like Dothan is pretty significant.

The four suspects Kenneth Nicholas De La Cerda, 24, and Alberto Diaz, Jr., both of Rio Grande City, TX; Jesus Pina, Jr. of Penitas; and Muta Bolden are
still behind bars.
