DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Dothan police arrested a man accused of trafficking synthetic marijuana around Dothan and the Houston County region, according to jail records.

Officers arrested Jumah Alziz Lowe, 36, of Headland at 9:20 a.m. Sunday. They previously put out a notice for his whereabouts last Tuesday after investigators conducted a raid where $100,000’s worth of Synthetic Analog Chemical — a compound used to make the drug — was discovered in a search on Denton Road.

Lowe had a previous conviction for possession of cocaine back in 2015, earning four years probation after being confined for part of a three-year sentence. That probation began on June 3, 2016, little more than three years ago.

Lowe faces one charge of drug trafficking and has been released from the Houston County Jail on a $60,000 bond.
