DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Dothan Fire Rescue is in the process of completing its annual rigorous pump training courses.
Veteran firefighters were put to the test requiring hands-on manpower to fight large fires. During the drills, the instructor called out different commands and the squad was given minutes to spring into actions.
“So this week will take them from very basic simple scenario on Monday to by Friday. They will be able to perform by Friday and they will be able to perform and be successful with any scenario,” Chief Battalion David Hasty said.
The group training is expected to end on Friday evening.
