OZARK, Ala. (WDHN) — On Friday night, law enforcement searched for two suspects who fled on foot after leading police on a high-speed chase and crashing into a ditch.
According to a WDHN source, an Ozark police officer attempted to pull the vehicle over on U.S. 231 around 7:40 p.m. The two suspects, both male, then led the officer on a high speed chase on Jernigan Road before they crashed into a ditch on Marvin Parker Road. Following the crash, the two men ran into a nearby wooded area.
The Ozark Police Department, the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, a K9, and a helicopter searched for the suspects.
Another source told WDHN the suspects were driving a Ford Escape and had rammed a patrol car.
As of now, no arrests have been made. We will keep you updated.
