Daleville enters new economic development contract

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The city of Daleville is partnering up with a development team to boost its economy.

City leaders entered into a new contract with the Wiregrass Economic Development Corporation to help determine what the city needs to grow economically.

The corporation recently struck a victory for the town of New Brockton, helping it to secure the $100 million-dollar Ben E. King Distribution Center last month.

The city’s contract will cost $11,000 a year when it starts in October.
