Dale County University of Alabama Club holds workshop for high school students

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Dale County University of Alabama Club is looking to award scholarships for eligible high school students. University of Alabama recruits held an informational workshop.

Dr. Charles Smith, a retired dentist said the club has around $800,000 in various scholarships for Dale County young people to attend the capstone.

“We have a fundraiser where we auction off two tickets to a game, this year its the Auburn-Alabama game. We’ll get a lot of
Auburn money because they’ll all want to go,” Dr. Charles Smith said.
