Coffee County officials approve polling location change

ELBA, Ala. (WDHN) — The Alabama primary election takes place one week from Tuesday.

Coffee County officials say the Elba Recreation Center precinct was unavailable for an election. The county commission approved its relocation to the Elba Church of Christ on Troy Highway.

For church minister Philip Box, he welcomes the change.

“We are proud to be able to help with providing space for voting, and that’s what we’re proud to do to help the community out,” Rev. Box said.

The polls will be open on Super Tuesday in Alabama from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
