Clayhatchee to receive huge amount of money for road improvements

DALE COUNTY (WDHN) — The small Dale County town of Clayhatchee will receive more than $243,000 dollars for widening and resurfacing roads.

The money to do the work is coming from the state increase in the local gas tax. Clayhatchee is one of the oldest settlements in Dale County and is the southernmost town in the county with a population of just under 600.
