City of Ozark cancellations


The city of Ozark is actively monitoring the COVID_19 outbreak and is adjusting its activities accordingly.  

Below there is a list of changes to the city events:  

  • The City Council Meeting for 3-17-2020 has been cancelled 
  • The Ozark/Dale County Senior Center is closed. For seniors signed up for meals, contact the Senior Center at 334-445-6900 to arrange delivery and/or pickup.  
  • All spring Leisure Service sport activities are postponed effective Wednesday, March 18, 2020.  
  • 100 AL Miles Team has postponed the 2020 season kickoff event originally scheduled for Saturday, March 28 at Ed Lisenby Lake and has been rescheduled for April 11, 2020.  
  • All in-person judicial proceedings and appearances in Alabama are suspended for the next 30 days. This apples to municipal courts as well.  
  • The Vietnam Veterans Wall Dedication Scheduled for March 27, 200 will be postponed to a later date.  
  • The Crawdad Festival remains scheduled for April 4. 

The City may update these cancellations. Notices will be posted on the City’s Everything Ozark Facebook Page.
