WASHINGTON COUNTY, Fla. (WDHN) — A Chipley woman is behind bars tonight after a traffic stop yielded more than 30 grams of meth.
A Washington County Sheriff’s K-9 unit stopped a vehicle speeding near Moss Hill Road on state road 77 Dec. 28.
During that stop, a deputy found 25 grams of meth, two pipes, Xanax bars weighing more than seven grams, and ecstasy.
Jillian Pennewell admitted to having additional narcotics and retrieved over eight grams of meth from inside of her pants.
Pennewell is booked in the Washington County jail on meth trafficking, possession of meth with intent to sell, three counts of possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
