BREAKING: Two dead, three injured after early morning Troy Shooting



Troy Police are investigating a shooting that has left two dead and three others in hospitals.  The shootings happened early Saturday morning around 2am.  Law enforcement was called to the Pike County Cattleman’s Complex, southeast of Troy, on Highway 231 to disperse a large crowd gathered in the parking lot. 

Troy Police say when officers arrived, they discovered several people had been shot.  Two gunshot victims at the scene were taken to hospitals, including a person who died at a Dothan hospital. A second person died from wounds Saturday afternoon.  Three other victims are at hospitals suffering from gunshot wounds.  

No arrest has been made. Police are activity pursuing all leads in the case and combing over evidence at the crime scene. 

The identities of the victims have not been released by police.  The bodies of the deceased will be taken to the Department of Forensic Science for autopsies.
