EPD press release

ORIGINAL REPORT:

ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — First responders are cleaning up a major accident between a car and a motorcycle.

A man at the scene said his wife was leaving church Wednesday night when she was hit by a motorcyclist on the Boll Weevil Circle at the train tracks near Walmart.

She is said to be fine, but the motorcyclist had to be airlifted for treatment for severe injuries. We currently do not know where.

Traffic was rerouted for a while, but it appeared to start flowing more normally when our crew left.

A health professional at the scene, not affiliated with emergency personnel, said the fact that the cyclist loaded into the helicopter is a good sign as it means that he is stable enough to travel and, more importantly, alive.
