HOUSTON COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — Houston County Superintendent candidate Brandy White has defeated incumbent Superintendent David Sewell.
Tuesday night White held a watch party at the National Peanut Festival fair grounds where he said he is excited about what he has seen during the race.
“I’m glad that the campaign’s over and I’m ready to start learning, and hopefully be able to hit the ground running in November,” White said.
If the results hold, White will start as superintendent in November.
