Authorities search for suspect in convenience store robbery

CAMPBELLTON, Fla. (WDHN) — The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect in a convenience store robbery, according to a press release.

The robbery happened Wednesday night when a masked man came into the Kmee Convenience Store and threatened the store clerk. Once the clerk handed over the money, the suspect ran out of the store and drove away in an SUV, which is pictured below.

The suspect wore a “dark colored hoodie style jacket with black and white colors on the sleeves and stomach” at the time of the robbery.

He is said to be a black man with a height of five feet, nine inches and a weight between 200 and 225 pounds.
