ALEA credits legislature funds with aiding investigation

Alabama law enforcement credits the state legislature with appropriating the funds to expand its new crime-fighting techniques.

The chairman of the Alabama House Ways and Means committee is Ozark republican Steve Clouse.

He believes the additional dollars earmarked for state-of-the-art crime-fighting technology helped solve the Ozark double murder.

Representative Clouse says it’s imperative that state law enforcement be properly funded to remain on the cutting edge of solving both violent and white-collar crime.
