DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Alabama Department of Public Health has released new data regarding the risk levels for COVID-19 across the state.
Parts of the Wiregrass have been downgraded to lower risk levels.
However, both Coffee and Houston counties remain as high-risk regions in our district. Coffee County’s new case rate grew from a 7-day moving average of 31.7 on Nov. 6 to 47.2 on Nov. 13.
Houston County’s 7-day moving average grew steadily from 21.9 on Nov. 9 to 32.1 on Nov. 13.
The state’s positive percent of COVID-19 also continues to increase, with it rising to 11.5 percent last week.
