DALE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — A Dale County student has tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Dale County Board of Education.
“It has been brought to our attention that a student at South Dale Middle School has recently tested positive for COVID-19,” the board said. “The student was already at home in isolation and has not been on campus the last two days.”
According to the board, the student was not on campus while showing symptoms, and school officials told those who were in close contact with the student of the exposure.
This comes after an employee tested positive for the virus Wednesday as well.
