140 Dothan City Schools students quarantined due to COVID-19 exposure



The number of quarantined students has risen to 140. Eleven students have active infections.


DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Dothan City Schools reported Wednesday that 112 of its students were quarantined for COVID-19 exposure, according to its dashboard.

This means that 1.4 percent of the student population is under quarantine. Meanwhile, eight other students have been confirmed to have an active case of COVID-19.

As for the staff, only five staff members have active COVID-19 infections. Sixteen others are in quarantine while waiting to be cleared for the virus.
