Flowers Hospital reports 44 total COVID-19 deaths; 58 at Southeast Health


DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Both Flowers Hospital and Southeast Health are reporting more deaths among their COVID-19 patients.

As of this Friday, Flowers had 44 deaths from COVID-19, according to Dothan-Houston County EMA Director Chris Judah.

Currently, 51 people are being treated at the hospital for covid-19.

Flowers Hospital itself has confirmed a total of 821 cases since the pandemic began while its medical group offices have confirmed 584.

Meanwhile, at Southeast Health, 58 patients have died after contracting the virus while 51 patients are still being treated.

The hospital alone has confirmed 571 cases since March.
